Itinerary

Day 1ARRIVAL IN ISTANBUL

Welcome to Turkey, the land of contrasts, and the start of your Turkey tour! Upon arrival at Istanbul’s airport, our team will pick you up and transfer you to your hotel for an overnight stay in Istanbul.

Day 2SIGHTSEEING IN ISTANBUL

After breakfast, we’ll begin our first day of sightseeing in Istanbul. Our first stop is the Egyptian Market (Spice Bazaar), a 17th-century marketplace offering a variety of food, spices, and souvenirs. Next, we’ll enjoy a private Bosphorus cruise to see Istanbul’s historic homes, palaces, and mosques. Post-lunch, we move on to the Topkapi Palace to explore its museum filled with royal artifacts. The day concludes with free time at the Grand Bazaar, the world’s oldest and largest covered market. Overnight stay in Istanbul.

Day 3SIGHTSEEING IN ISTANBUL

Today starts with a visit to the Hippodrome of Constantinople, an ancient sporting ground in Sultanahmet. Our next stop is the iconic Blue Mosque, famous for its blue tiles and six minarets. Following this, we’ll go to Aya (Hagia) Sophia, a museum that was once a church and later a mosque. After lunch, we’ll ascend Camlica Hill, which offers a panoramic view of Istanbul. We’ll end the day at Dolmabache Palace, a lavish imperial residence. Overnight stay in Istanbul.

Day 4ISTANBUL TO CAPPADOCIA

Post-breakfast, you’ll be transferred to Istanbul airport for a flight to Kayseri. Upon arrival, we proceed to Goreme and check into a unique cave hotel. Our Cappadocia exploration starts with a hike in Red Valley and Pasabagi, featuring volcanic rock formations and fairy chimneys. Next, we’ll visit Cavusin to see its ancient church and the “Great Pigeon House.” Then we head to the Goreme Open-Air Museum to explore early Christian cave churches and monasteries. We end the day at Uchisar, offering panoramic views and a natural rock citadel. Overnight stay in Cappadocia.

Day 5SIGHTSEEING IN CAPPADOCIA

(Optional Hot Air Balloon Ride at extra cost)

Starting the day after breakfast, we visit Derinkuyu, the largest underground city in Turkey. We then proceed to Ihlara Valley, home to over 4,000 dwellings and 100 cave churches. Lunch will be at Belisirma village. Our next stop is Selime Monastery, followed by a visit to the Agzikarahan Caravanserai, a historical inn on the ancient Silk Road. We are then transferred back to the hotel for checkout and a flight back to Istanbul. Overnight stay in Istanbul.

Day 6DEPARTURE FROM ISTANBUL

After checking out from the hotel, transfers to Istanbul airport are available for your return flight home.
